June Is All About ‘All Eyez on Me’!

As we approach closer and closer to the highly anticipated release of All Eyez On Me which chronicles the late Tupac Shakur’s life. Newcomer Demetrius Shipp, Jr. has some big shoes to fill, as Tupac’s story has gone untold for so long because he’s really a part of all of us. Cashmere had the opportunity to gather the major players in the film, as well as hip hop greats and fashion icons, to really discuss Tupac’s legacy and their feedback on All Eyez On Me.

Hip Hop Artists Too $hort & Money B, The Voice of Los Angeles Big Boy, Producer LT Hutton, Deshawn Wayne who plays Big Frank in the film, Artist/Producer Terrace Martin, and Director Benny Boom. All chopped all things Tupac and Music during their roundtable.

 

Legends in street fashion Cross Colours, designer of Walker Wear, April Walker, Moderator and Founder of Upscale Hype, Allen Oniya, legendary designer Karl Kani, and new school streetwear designer Jerry Lorenzo of Fear of God. The fashion roundtable discussed Tupac’s impact on fashion, and how, without his influence, street fashion would not be the same.

Producer LT Hutton, Annie Ilonzeh, who plays Kidada Jones, Demetrius Shipp, Jr. who plays Tupac Shakur, Cory Hardrict, aka Nigel, and Director Benny Boom gathered after the filmmaker roundtable for a fun photo. The actors and filmmakers discussed making this epic tale, and the impact Tupac’s story has on today’s society.
